Matters Arising
- Healthy Eating – Pupils still not satisfied with puddings.
- Pleased to see main meals more healthy.
- Snacks – Would like to see more variety than toast.
- Suggested pieces of fruit

- Librarian/s requested for library
- More teachers on duty at break times

Health and Safety
- Council is concerned about dangerous activity when pupils take themselves out of lessons
- Anti vandal paint to be put on fence around bin shed and wall around electricity box.
- Slamming doors. Primary suggested all doors in school should have safety plastic strip to stop people injuring hands
- CCTV to watch and punish smokers

Respect for building
- Council members are sick of furniture being broken. Not fair on pupils who behave to have all that money being wasted on repairs.
- Concerned about increasing graffiti on walls and desks
- Time Out rooms: can the walls be painted, bench attached to wall, more friendly space.
- If pupils don’t wear uniform they shouldn’t get treats or rewards

Litter
- Litter picking as an activity in comp
- Too many sweet wrappers on floor
- Council suggested a timetable be introduced where each year group is responsible for the tidiness of the school grounds. 1 group per week. Competition?

Improve school environment
- Secondary and primary requested lockers so they can look after their own stuff
- Raise awareness of Safe School notices
- Pupils should not feel threatened in school.
